Lips

A soft wash of color that enhances your natural lip tone, adds definition, and creates a beautifully balanced appearance.

A custom-created color chosen to complement your natural undertone, enhancing your lip color and defining the lip line for a more balanced, polished appearance.

Lips move through several color stages during healing, with the final shade becoming softer and more settled over time. A perfecting session after healing helps refine the color and bring your results together.

From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed. The environment was calm and peaceful and instantly put me at ease. Leslie paid incredible attention to every detail, especially when it came to shaping my lips, and made sure everything looked natural and balanced. She took the time to help me choose the perfect shade and even customized a color that truly matched my complexion. Knowing that she is a registered nurse with experience in the medical field gave me so much confidence and reassurance throughout the appointment.

This is my first time getting lip blushing or any permanent makeup and Leslie made me feel super comfortable. I have a low pain tolerance and she made sure I wasn’t uncomfortable and the numbing was effective. She explained each step as she went so I wasn’t lost, and she gave me an aftercare kit and explained the stages my lips would go through. Definitely book her!

Lip techniques

  • Lip Blushing From a soft wash to a bolder flush of color, this treatment brings balance, definition, and a naturally beautiful tint to your lips.

Lip blushing is a cosmetic tattoo technique that enhances the natural color, shape, and definition of the lips. Custom pigment is carefully layered into the lips to create a soft, even tint that can range from barely there to more noticeable color.

Lip blushing can help improve the appearance of asymmetry, define a fading vermilion border, and create a more balanced lip tone. The healed result is not a traditional lipstick look but a soft, natural enhancement that makes your lips appear more polished with less daily makeup.

  • Lip Neutralization A corrective technique designed to soften cool, dark, or uneven lip tones and create a more balanced, natural-looking base.

Lip neutralization is a specialized cosmetic tattooing technique designed for lips with cool, dark, purple, gray, or uneven undertones. Carefully selected warm-toned pigments are used to gradually soften unwanted tones and create a more balanced appearance.

Unlike traditional lip blushing, the primary goal is color correction rather than adding a new lip color. Multiple sessions may be required, depending on the depth and characteristics of the natural undertone. Once sufficient neutralization is achieved, a desired lip color may be introduced if desired.

Questions about lip blushing

  • How much does lip blushing cost?

$395 for lip blushing. Depending on the level of saturation or amount of color you want, additional sessions can be booked to add more color.

  • Does lip blushing hurt?

Effective numbing keeps most clients comfortable, even those with a low pain tolerance. Leslie explains each step as she goes.

  • What are the healing stages?

Lips move through several color stages while they heal: bold at first, then a lighter, patchy stage around days 5–7, before the final, softer shade settles in about 4–6 weeks. You’ll go home with an aftercare kit and instructions for each stage.

  • I get cold sores. Can I still have it done?

Yes, but it is recommended to have an antiviral prescribed by your doctor before the appointment.

  • What’s the difference between lip blushing and lip neutralization?

Lip blushing adds color and definition. Neutralization uses warm pigments to correct cool, dark, purple or uneven tones first, often over several sessions, before color is added if you want it.

  • How long does lip blushing last?

2–5 years, depending on skin type and sun exposure.
